Outsch! Right of the bat I have to admit that I bought one of those guys for my son, because he likes cartoon characters, and we both get a kick out of all that Tiki merchandise out there. But just one, and I had a reeeeally hard time deciding which one was the least ugly of the bunch. Not good ugly, just bad.

These are among the worst renditions of "Tiki" idols I have encountered in the revival, only comparable to those beercan and Bar-bq holding Jimmy Buffet Tikis.

But hey, I also bought an Aloha shirt in Kona just because it had the worst rendered art of the "City of Refuge" Tikis on it I had ever seen, so bad it was funny. Clearly done in Asia, with no connection to Polynesian culture. One figure looks like an American Indian holding a tomahawk.
