I didn't know Gladding McBean ever made dishes! They are based in Lincoln CA (about 30 miles north of Sacramento) and have been around for over 100 years. Their main products are sewer pipe and architectural terra-cotta. I toured their factory earlier this year and the kilns are HUGE! Check 'em out at http://gladdingmcbean.paccoast.com/default.jsp
