Ebay Bitching! Need to vent? Vent away! - Collecting Tiki

We would monitor his auctions for entertainmant just like watching Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. $240 for a fishy bread plate. $1700 for a print. $550 for a fish dinner plate. Day after day after day! And the bidder had a 100% perfect ebay rating. You begin to wonder...who is this? Is this Marlon Brando? Sitting in the jungle of his private French Polynesian island surrounded, a la Colonel Kurtz, by fierce, loyal indigenous villagers and thousands and thousands of pink fishy plates?? I sometimes wonder why I've not stumbled across that ebayer (forgot the nic) again in my Tiki/Hawaiiana searches. What happened to that crazy fetishist? Honest to God, I saw a pair of those fishy plates up for bid 3-4 months ago and I waited for the Big Man to come a bidding. Nah...they went for 15 or 20 bucks. E! should do an expose on famous people on ebay. I'd watch it if someone gave me a head's up and I didn't have anything better to do.
