Wow - I picked this up from Adam Kempa's blog.... Check out this link: "Amazon launched a new feature today that is impossibly cool: They've integrated their yellow pages and Mapquest with a database of images enabling users to visually scroll up and down the block. You can see an example of what I'm talking about here, just mouse-over the sequence of images along the bottom of the page." My link above (if you keep clicking to the left) will take you directly in front of our building. I wonder why it stops on the previous corner? Also - if you keep clicking to the left down Alameda (about 20 frames) you'll be standing in front of Bob's Big Boy #49! Here's a link to an auto repair shop on the block next to our old office building, which you can see if you click right a boxes to the 'Cast And Crew' building - not terribly exciting - but interesting. At this point it seems you have to type in a business (as opposed to just typing in your home address) and navigate down the street.... But pretty cool, no? |
