that raises a good question as to whether amazon is violating the rights of people whose pictures are now posted online. the general rule is a person or company cannot use another person's recognizable image for financial gain. The question is first, whether these people are recognizable and second, whether amazon is promoting a business. One could say that yellow pages posted online is more of a community service; but generally the yellow pages are put out by for-profit companies, aren't they?
