For the last 10 weeks our kitchen has been under reconstruction. The first thing I did was come home, was try to figure out what was wet, disconnected, usable. I had to rinse dust off everything before you could eat or drink out of it. Mr. Pineapple has been working really late and eating dinner at work, so I had cereal or ice cream for dinner! Sometimes the living room furniture was covered in tarps, and pushed to one side. This blew. I usually came home, got into jammies and fell asleep early. (First trimester of pregnancy + construction will do that)

Now, it's all finished, Mr. P is still on crunch time deadline, but this weekend he had one day off and we cleaned, threw stuff out, put stuff away, and the tiki bar/corner is restored to it's pre-construction glory. I really missed it!

Today when I come home, the house will be more normal than it's been in 3 months. I will make some dinner, watch the Giants if they're on; they're not, they play the Dodgers tomorrow :( So, maybe some seinfeld re-runs, and do some pre-garage sale clothes purging! Sadly, I'll probably never be a size 8 again, and if I am, I'm buying new clothes!

I really miss having a cocktail when I come home, but I suppose it's better to have a baby who can read and will someday have the motor skills to squeeze limes for mommy!
