The best I can come up with is the fact that most have a bar area where you are more than welcome just to have a few drinks, as well as a seperate restaurant area. That way you catch two sets of consumers. Drinkers and eaters. If you are really successful, the eaters will have to spend extra time drinking in the bar area before they can get a seat!
