Sven, I suspected Bali as you mentioned. Thanks for your input! By the way, do you happen to know why both nude and non-nude paintings of polynesian women were often green skinned? I have seen this skin tone many times , most recently in Mark Ryden's tiki paintings. It is a minor detail, but I wonder if there is a specific reason or just an artistic vision of women?? Just one of many things I don't know!!
