Description:
This little restaurant has been open since late 2004 but I haven't had a chance to try it, even though I live a block or two away. Decor isn't very Tiki-fied, in fact it's little more than a cafe with floral printed tablecloths and Samoan, Cook Islands & Tongan flags in the window (and a NZ All Blacks flag on the back wall). Menu promises authentic Polynesian fare (it's run by a Samoan (hence the name)) to service the local Polynesian population. Note that there's a Tongan/Vietnamese(?) grocery store across the road and an Islander Church a few blocks down. Worth a try especially considering the drought of Tiki-Polynesian fare in Sydney.
