City:Sydney (Dulwich Hill)
This little restaurant has been open since late 2004 but I haven't had a chance to try it, even though I live a block or two away. Decor isn't very Tiki-fied, in fact it's little more than a cafe with floral printed tablecloths and Samoan, Cook Islands & Tongan flags in the window (and a NZ All Blacks flag on the back wall). Menu promises authentic Polynesian fare (it's run by a Samoan (hence the name)) to service the local Polynesian population. Note that there's a Tongan/Vietnamese(?) grocery store across the road and an Islander Church a few blocks down. Worth a try especially considering the drought of Tiki-Polynesian fare in Sydney.

Ha I saw this place a week ago, wasnt game to try it out.
I live in Earlwood so we are pretty close together.
i seemed to have jinxed it by posting details on here as i walked past last night and the lights were off, nobody home, drinks fridge empty.
After being only Saturday lunch for the last few months (and even then, those hours were erratic), the for lease sign has gone out and all fixtures starting to be removed. tofa samoan hut.
