Hope University in Fullerton (Indoor / Outdoor mid-century architecture, one of my favorites. Bring a camera. Then stop at the Continental in downtown Fullerton for a cocktail, you'll thank me later - Hell, let me know if you're in the hood, I'll meet you for a drink). La Palma Chicken Pie Shop in Anaheim (Comfort food to the max, it's the best $6 meal you'll ever have and 'old school' is an understatement) The Parasol in Seal Beach (The hanging lights inside are worth the trip.
