A note about signature tests! - Test Messages Area

Tiki Central does not show your signature if the content of your post is short -- for instance, if you make a post somewhere that says nothing but "Hey, I'll be there!" your signature will not appear, even if you have it turned on. SO! The test of your signature won't work if you just say "testing". This threw me recently, even though I knew about the short-message thing, I'd just forgotten about it, and so I was puzzled when my sig test didn't work. I forget what the limit is, something like 80 characters, so just make sure you have a few lines of text in your test message.
