Kevin - There are many small inexpensive motels near (1-2 miles) the Bahia Mar. I'm staying in one. You can walk or take a cab to the events if you're drinking - and I expect you will be!

You can enter the Bahia Mar's address in Yahoo maps and then search for hotels nearby to help narrow it down.

If you've never been to the Mai-Kai you will not be disappointed!
