At about midnight on the night before, we walked over there to see what was going on, and found tons of people and dogs of all ages dancing, chanting and drumming. Crews working under bright lights were building a stage at one end of the field. The scents of patchouli and pot filled the air. There were many old buses, beat-up RVs, and barely running Volkswagen Microbuses parked in the neighborhood for about a month afterwards, and some of them are still here.
