Can't be sure of the accuracy of this but... In an interview with Canadian steel guitar player Mike "Malahini" Scott in my last issue of Mai Tai, he says his band played the opening of the Toronto Trader Vic's... Quote: "We actually played at the opening of the bar. Trader Vic and his wife came up from California for the event - that was sometime in the 70's." |
