DEVO tour - Beyond Tiki

It was great for me to finally see them live. Nearly 25 years after buying my first Devo LPs, it was great to be at the front of the stage and being able to mouth and shout the lyrics which I was so familiar with. They were still as visually exciting as when I saw them perform on that old Fridays night television show on ABC. This was somewhat of a 70's rock nostalgia week for me. Wednesday night I saw the New York Dolls perform, Thursday night a theatre performance of the Who's Tommy, and Devo tonight! I also saw Los Stritjackets and the Pontani Sisters yesterday, but that was not 70's nostalgia, but one month old nostalgia after seeing them at Chicago's Exotica event. I can't remember a time when I saw so many great shows in different venues in such a short period.
