I realized I needed to be thinking in terms of roughing him out, not finishing him. I wanted to take a lot of wood off and get it closer to where it really needs to be. I think powertools would make it all faster, but, I would not learn as much. I hit problems on the headdress. When I took outt the chunks in there, it would often break off a chunk I wanted to stay.
