Thanks Poly for the kind words... I just tried your skinning technique on a 6' palm trunk last night... worked well! Here is #4 - finished last night. Used my new Arbortech power chisel for the tattoo marks... worked like a charm! (thanks Benz for the tip). He is the other half left over cutting from #3...
He found his place at the front of the tiki bar where he protects the homebrewed beer from interlopers!
