I vaguely remember a band called LAKE. it was the late 70s, early 80s, around that time. There was a song that got airplay on the radio. To me it was like fingernails on a chalkboard. Whenever that song came on I had to change the station. I think it is the only song by lake that I ever heard, but it was so bad that I was never tempted to listen to any of the others. Probably not the worst ever, but that was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the thread.
