Last year we did New Year's Eve & New Year's Day -- that way, you aren't faced with the race against the 11 a.m. checkout on very little sleep & a possible hangover. Also, for those superstitious types, the first day of the year was spent relaxing among friends in a tiki landscape, not a bad way to set the tone for the year.
