Why the Greek alphabet for new hurricane names? - Bilge

Rita, Katrina, Wilma....it also starting sounding like a list of the daughter names of one of those overly cute couples who give all the kids names with the same ending. You shouldn't get too cute with naming meteorological phenomenon that kill. Greek letter names, great. Now I suppose all the frat/sorority members around the world will start kvetching.
