Maybe Clark Foam should do what a lot of other U.S. Corporations have done in the face of rising operating costs, stricter regulations and pissed off labor unions...move your operation to Mexico, open up a Maquiladora and reap the benefits of NAFTA. The surfers get blanks at the same (or cheaper) price. The Mexicans have more jobs and don't have to risk a hazardous border crossing. The government regulators have one less headache and Clark enjoys bigger profits. I know...I know...this sounds too simple, therefore it must be screwed up somehow, so let's just forget the whole idea. I hear Calloway Golf is working on a Carbon-Graphite composite surfboard design but are sceptical that the average surfer will pay $4,000.00 for a board that was squeezed out of a mold and looks like everybody elses board.
