Speaking of Ikea, I just read that Ikea bought this famous building by Marcel Bruer and intended to tear it down.
The city of West Haven, CT denied them the permit to demolish it but OK'd Ikea's alternate plan to demolish a portion of it and build a huge Ikea store (in their typical hideous blue and yellow color scheme) and parking lot next to it. For shame Ikea! |
