Im one of those with a 'blog' in creating tiki. It helps keep me motivated to finish stuff off. I do ramble on with some crap too. Make your own judgements on it.

I've only been around for over a year. Not sure if that makes me a newbie still or an old hand. Whatever, its just a tag. But yeah, to some tiki is a fad, to others it is a lifestyle.

I read an article on who are "true" hot rodders. Those who piece together their own rides in their garage, or those who pay for them with a chequebook. The general gist was those who hang around for the long haul are the true hot rodders. Even those who dont have rods but still stick around are included in this.

I reckon TC is much the same. Some make tiki stuff, some buy it. We all dig it. Those who stick with tiki for the long haul have my respect.

I do miss lake surfer and monkey man and those who no longer post. But I know that they're still tiki, so its not all bad.
