Thanks for the smiles GMAN. JohnnyP. I hollow these out for a few reasons, one to lighten it up for shipping and for hanging on the wall. Also it helps dry the tiki out so the poly sticks better and it weighs less too. Most of the inside meat is wet, stringy pulp that can rot quickly and cause the form meat to rot also which would NOT be a good thing. Hollowing them out does slow down any checking too, so there are many benefits to the hollowing out process. Thanks.. |
