since the bar opened in 58.

Ive already found the thread about all the diffrent places in los angeles to visit, and ive been to quite a few of the restraunts already, however, id love some coaching on some of the better places around here. thanks again

So you're the Harry Truman of Lobsterboys, eh? Good to know. :)

As to hints about where to eat & drink in the Valley, have you tried critiki's Globe Browser? You can choose "Open Locations only," zoom into LA, find the Tonga Hut, and you can see what's nearby. After double-clicking the place you're interested in you can select "Critiki Map" and see street directions to & from there, or between 2 Tiki bars to start your own one Lobsterboy bar crawl. :)

The lovely Ms. Humuhumu also has the Humu Kon Tiki Blog with news & views on happenings in the Tiki world, and is a good place to find out about openings & events (like that the Lucky Tiki's moving to North Hollywood in October).

And then there's always Konakai.com (featuring Taboo!) for listings of Tiki Bars, Cocktails & Culture around the world.

[edit]Has anyone else noticed that the new members on this page read like a Tiki math formula, or have I been running on good intentions and caffine for too long? 151, lobsterboyx, sutherland_a...
