Skip, thanks for the pics. That is not a monkey head, but a New Guinea carving on that lamp base. And the mask would be of O.A. manufacture, like quite a few wall hangings at the Kahiki were, but it's curious that it is plaster. Maybe they remade a couple themselves using the wooden original as a mold. [ Edited by: bigbrotiki 2006-05-02 04:09 ] |
