Well, Kinda sad for the locals I guess, but no big loss to the true tiki afficianados...The fire broke out about 4:30am and its a total loss. They were tropical themed, but in a very trendy/yuppie way. (flourescent paints and Party City tiki theme). The place kinda reminded me of Joes Crab Shack with a much more rowdy crowd...Maybe now they can remodel with a better tropical theme with their insurance claim, or at least I hope they look into it!? |
