My husband and I are revamping part of our upstairs into a tiki bar. This decision came about because we had a few miscellaneous tiki items to begin with (oh, we're newlyweds too). After looking around here a bit, it would also seem I've had a few suppressed tiki memories... Like we used to frequent Sam's Seafood in HB all the time (didn't remember all the tiki!) and The Polynesian/Latitude 20 (whichever it was while I was there) in Torrance...who knows what else will surface? Anywho- I like all things retro and am finally learning a bit more about it all.
