How are you promoting Tiki? - General Tiki

I showed the argument segment of this thread to my mom who has been to most of the West Coast and Hawiian hotspots duriing the mid 50's and 60's and she laughed her head off in disbelief. What's is the point of baiting an argument over Tiki? Really? Think about it. What came first the Tiki or the Tikiphile? What does it all mean? One thing I am sure of is that there is no valid reason to put someone down over Tiki. This would have been a great skit for Mr. Show. T.F.
