We have actually found that almost every Modern House house in Las Vegas built prior to the late 1960s has only a carport (although many have been converted into garages since then). But to answer your question, there is a smaller exterior 'garage-like' storage attached to a single car carport however. we bought from the original owners who raised a family in this house over a period of 40+ years and believe it or not did absolutely nothing to the back yard. it was dirt/sand from one end of the yard to another. Since we have had the place, we planted a perimeter of jasmine - which will eventually be a fragrant hedge. We have also planted several palms (fan, date and mediterranean). We built the lava rock firepit with small palm log seats around it and built a kinda rustic looking back patio pad.
