I recently tried Mackeston Stout, brought back from Virgina for me by my Dad.

My ancestor Samuel Whitbread started the Whitbread's brewery which began in the UK a couple hundred years ago. It produces Whitbread's & Mackeson out of Ohio, and a select number of cases are available throughout the US, but not yet in Canada.

I love Whitbread Pal Ale & Mackeson Stout! They're both extremely smooth and tasty. The mackeson has some nice coffee/chocolate action going on.
If I could get this stuff here, I'd drink it every day! Maybe it's just because I have a an emotional tie to the company. Anyhow, this is what it looks like, and I highly reccomend both. I have a few bottles left, and have been nursing them like crazy. I'm even keeping the boxes, bottles & caps. I've been collecting Whitbread brewerania for a few years now. My parents have a huge Whitbread mirror in their front hall, it's been there since before I was born. Silly, I know.
