I don't really care what the place is called if they serve good drinks. I do, however, like your definition of each because that puts me and the wahine back into the Lounge Category and I would much rather be called a Lounge Lizard than a Bar Fly.

And, I agree with you about the entry point for many today. Searching for the salt shaker had lead many to stumble upon the Tiki lifestyle, and then Tiki Central, as something more than a place that serves margaritas.

And, I hope to add to this discussion with a strange quote that I am sorry to say I don't know the origins of and that is "All Roads lead to Avalon." If we hold up Tiki as a kind of Avalon, then we are all making the same journey but using different roads.
