My 65 bus...

Here it is in San Miguel in north north baja. I remember on this trip, my friend had no money and brought only a loaf of bread and peanut butter and jelly. The night we got there, he passed out in the van and used his bread as a pillow. Least the surf was good...Originally, it had an emblem that got stolen. I got another emblem from a bus a friend found abandoned in a field, way out in the sticks in bonsall. It was in perfect shape so I threaded and bolted it in to prevent another theft. I didn't believe him when he told me about it, but sure enough it was there. I got a whole bunch of other parts off of it too. The emblem was selling for about $85US at the time.

Custom red velvet tuck and roll interior-floor to ceiling.

I still have it, but the paint doesn't look as good anymore...It's in storage in Zaya's back yard. Someday it will be painted again. Someday...
A picture of it was used on an album cover too

My attempt at Hockneyesque Cubism
I never knew how to fix a car until I got a VW. Now I can tell what's wrong with a VW by the way someone describes the problem.
I love VWs
