The bamboo "roof" and mat siding is simply installed, without any construction adhesives, over the original redwood siding. So if it ever has to come down all the original construction is intact with nothing to do but patch a few screw holes. The mural was hung by a professional wallpaper guy and we just screwed some primed and treated plywood to the siding to provide a flat surface. And with the exception of all the plants, bamboo, plumeria, hibiscus, the bar itself is almost completely invisible from the street. Although we do get the occasional gawker who wants to know if we're open for walk-in business :))
