Thanks for the links thejab. Some of the fiberglass boats like the boats in the pics you posted are very cool. I really have my heart set on restoring a wood cedar strip from the 40's or 50's. As a matter of fact, I did pick one up a month ago, but I'm not sure I have it in me to do all the work this one needs to be right. I got a really good deal on it, but I might just end up selling it and finding one in better shape. Here's a few pics. It's a 17' Giesler from the 50's. I starting sanding it last week. The hull is good, but most of the ribs will need to be replaced, as well many other trim pieces.
