I'm very sad to read these posts. David was one of my closest friends and we were all devastated at his death in December. The colors David used were very much Caribbean influenced and I love the way they look. The colors he used are no different than the bright colors used on the typography headings and ads in this website. After knowing David and collecting some of his works, I find that the unpainted tikis are awfully boring. Rest in peace, David. |
