I've done some almost enough pieces for my exhibition next week and the hard work will soon be over. I'll post some of the non-tiki stuff when I take the photos in a couple of days, as it is still quite Polynesian/Pacific influenced and may interest some of you. Today I'm doing a similar piece to #7 "Tuwhitu", as everyone who saw it wanted to know why I wasn't keeping it for my show. He decided to go out and see the world, so his brother is now taking his place. This one will have some subtle differences to distinguish it from the other, but will have the same types of inlay: jasper tongue, cockle shell teeth and paua eyes.
