I used Havana Club for the West Indies rum, and I used regular-proof El Dorado for the float instead of Lemon Hart 151 (I avoid 151 if I have to work the next day). It's a complicated drink to make -- lots of ingredients, plus crushed ice, plus liquified honey, plus blender -- but it's truly a work of art when it's done, and it tastes great. It looks like I have a new favorite. I have a love/hate relationship with the Puka Punch. It tastes terrific, but is terribly fussy to make. Making one is an event in itself.
