Discourses about how to approach drinkmaking as a culinary art, yes. Mixology as a circus attraction, no. Thank goodness that, at least in my neck of the woods, seriously tasty bartending is on the rise. I'll choose to raise my drink to the bartender who's too busy focusing on making properly proportioned drinks to have time for throwing bottles around and other silliness. If you want that in your bar, rent a monkey.
