Really enjoying some time off from carving tikis... this gives my mind a challenge on the same theme...

So, after some imagineering, I was able to construct and install the thatch overhang above the bar.

Quite pleased with how it came out.

Everyday I get closer to the work on the bar...

Found some great reproductions of vintage tin signs with a surf theme at a local retro store... thinking of picking them up and distressing them with rust and wear and tear along with my "Dangerous Shorebreak" sign I have already in one of the surf themed walls.
