I've got an awesome recipe for grilled shrimp. I used to make these when I was stationed outside Savannah when we could buy shrimp right off the boat.
The marinade is:
1 medium onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup vegetable or olive oil
1/4 cup (give or take) lemon juice
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons ground ginger
Marinade the shrimp 2-3 hours in the fridge, stirring to coat. Skewer and grill over medium-hot grill 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink.
