TS

I agree with alot that has been mentioned in this thread. For me, digging up an old topic only to discover a small red X in the place of where an image once was is frustrating. Alot of the old posts have become defunct without imagery here. Which would bring me to another aforementioned post about the tiki scene doesn't progress as fast as it used to, due to discovery. TC has provided many missing links & or mysteries "solved" information, that there really isn't much new going on except events, grand openings, and or new art/mug releases for current posts.
Until something old or vintage tiki gets discovered, those are really the only things to discuss, unless it is tidbits of info discovered and added to older topics or a contest for example.

I don't mind reading some of the older posts(preferably with working images!),but when "disagreements"(fights is such a harsh word) are met in topics, I only get angered at the posters who do not back their claims up with facts or they wind up derailing topics. Derailing topics can be a problem around TC on occasion, and I've been caught up in a couple for which i appologize. But for the most part I always come out with a better understanding of the topic and or poster's point of view, whether or not I agree or disagree with them. I think debate is an excellent tool for pulling the facts away from the gibberish or opinions, and it induces discovery through discussion. (so long as the focus is kept within the topic itself!)

MM, TC is not dead, as there are post being made everyday. Waiting for topics that truly ignite YOUR specific interests might be a different story depending on what you are waiting for to be posted. "Topics" in this case, "Are In The Eye Of The Beholder"....
Happy Holidays everyone & Aloha Kalikimaka me ka Hau'oli Makahiki Hou!....
