There may be room parties, but in 2004, we organized a single penthouse room where everyone could congregate at all hours and the commeraderie was really wonderful. This let everyone bring a bottle of rum and some people mixed and we all drank and talked all weekend. It's a nice curb on drinking costs, and big plus on really meeting everyone from far flung lands. Tiki Central people like to meet and hang out with Tiki Central people. It's rare we see each other if you don't live in California.
