OKOK, I know...the CHIN! Might have to name it GREAT SCOTT WHERE'S YOUR blankin' CHIN/neck!? Anyway, this is the most recent. Pic makes him look small but he is about 3.75 feet tall, Washingtonian Palm and 18"+ across at the top, dried for 2+years and still weighs in at 200+ lbs. Obviously he won't be planted...since he doesn't have a freaking neck. My question to you all is, when working with a log of limited height, where do you prefer to start in order to best avoid the dreaded 'ran out of room scenario.'
