The bellys and straight chests do not look like anything I have seen in the area of "vintage" tikis. I have poured through hundreds and hundreds of images and there is just something not right with these...the crossed legs for one thing..although the first time I saw that carving I liked it. I know there are a lot of big logs in the USA but I doubt whether the carver of these figures ever really studied "tikis" per se. So what am I trying to say anyway...I dunno.
