The seller does state that it was purchased new about 8yrs ago. For some reason Australia hosts an extrordinary number of old-ISH, unique-but-lame 'genuine Maori' hei-tiki auctions. Dont know why..? Doesnt hurt to keep an eye out though Ben. If you come across a mislabelled/undervalued genuine neolithic (stone-made) one, it'd almost be worth it's weight in gold! Grab it!*You'd have to get through me in the bidding tho... :wink: TTT
