These Moai earrings are about 2 inches long carved in exotic hippo tooth ivory with sterling silver trapdoor earloops. They are patterned after what Thor Heyerdahl referred to as the "Old Navigator Moai", the few Moai on Easter Island that feature a strange three-masted Rapa Nui sailing vessel petroglyph their chests. Very rare material here! |
