Hi Guys
Here's another one finished, made from Sea Cow bone, full of little annoying pockets. I think this might have challenged Tama & Paipo for the smallest carving. The Moai is approx 10mm high, it's carved where the attractor bit would be.
The red stain by the carving is where I tied red dyed Deer hair to look like the original hooks which would have had originally, Pigs hair as an attractor.
The pattern was taken from a 1928 study of Polynesian fish hooks.
