Hey Chris, that is some nice, rare swag you pulled out for spring cleaning!

The auctions seem to represent the three phases of Tiki:

1.) Jim Casey's Carter catalog, 1950s, and the Hanalei Menu, 1960s:
The beginnings and heyday of American mid-century Tiki style

2.) Tiki News, 1990s: The rediscovery of the above, and the beginnings of the Tiki Revival

3.) Shag shirts, 2000s: Fine Shag artifacts from the peak of the Tiki revival
